How It Works
The EWP (electronic water purifier) has carbon based electrodes. Low voltage is applied to the carbon electrodes. The minerals in the water are attracted to the opposite polarity of the electrodes, removing the minerals from the water. The minerals are electrochemically absorbed on the surface of the carbon electrode creating pure water.
During the discharge cycle, the polarity of the electrodes are reversed, the contaminants are simply flushed out the waste outlet.
